Say My Name

Reyna Larson is a Los Angeles based performing songwriter, originally from Chicago.

As a performer, she has fronted two successful Chicago bands, sold thousands of records independently, shared the stage with the likes of Macy Gray & Kat Deluna, Sophie B. Hawkins, and Roger McGuinn, and Michael Mcdermott at various venues throughout the midwest, Los Angeles, and New York.

As a songwriter, she has written original music for theatrical productions and indie films, co-created a music program for inner-city kids with National Louis University, written and recorded a song for a Fox pilot, and is very happy to announce her recent publishing deal with Dramatico.

She is currently playing live shows in southern California and getting ready to do some more recording.

In a nutshell, the past 10 years have gone like this:

teamed up with producer/drummer Brian Deck (Modest Mouse, Iron and Wine) to record the EP Stifle Yourself and to form the band Tilda Tora

went solo and released a roots album produced by Dave Ramont called Some Folks Need a Name on Clayhead Records

moved to L.A. Teamed up with producer Mark Cross (Shelby Lynne) and started up on new material.

Played some shows, worked on a new EP with Colin Studybaker (Iron and Wine, Squirrel Zippers)
