Originally
from a very remote town in Montana, Stacy studied
theater at Boston University and the Royal Academy
of Dramatic Arts. After graduating college, she
moved to New York City where she now resides and
became the resident piano player at the famed
Monkey Bar in Manhattan. Having written music
since the age of 8, Stacy finally released her
debut album One Way Home and was immediately recognized
by ASCAP, winning an ASCAPLUS award two years
in a row. During the time of her album released,
she starred in the hit film Murder Party which
was released by Magnolia Pictures.
Her cinematic and theatrical background shines
throughout her music, layering each story with
it’s own soundtrack. She has been compared
to a baffling variety of artists including Tom
Waits, Feist, Jeff Buckley, Regina Spektor, Aimee
Mann, Stevie Nicks and even Bob Dylan. Despite
the comparisons, Stacy has a truly unique voice
as a singer and as a writer, both original and
reminiscent of the vinyl era. Gabriel Levitt of
Brooklyn’s Jezebel Music wrote that her
live performances are “unequivocally enchanting”
